Research interests
Food safety, with a special interest in food allergens and the modification of recombinant food allergens. Development of a novel treatment for allergic diseases by generation of chimeric/fusion molecules.
 
Background
PhD study on the effects of polyunsaturated fatty acids on immune activation (Numico Research, Wageningen, Netherlands). Generation of monoclonal antibodies against food allergens (Immunological Institute, University of Oslo, Norway). Scientist at the Norwegian Veterinary Institute since 2006.
